Rim Cylinder (Yale) Lock.
This type of lock is usually found on wooden front doors. It normally operates a latch on the inside of the door. If you require new keys we only need to change the lock cylinder on the outside of the door. These locks are easily and cheaply replaced. Euro Cylinder Lock.
These lock cylinders are normally found on uPvc doors, composite wooden doors and patio doors. Euro cylinders are quickly and easily changed. They all have the same shape/profile although they come in a large variety of lengths and fitting the correct is important for security and use.
Thumb-Turn Cylinder.
Similar to a standard euro-cylinder (shown above). Thumb-turn cylinders are used in flats and apartments where there is only one main escape door. They allow the door to be opened and locked without using the key. These are an important safety feature in flats and apartments.
Oval (UK) Cylinder.
Similar to a standard euro-cylinder (shown above). UK or Oval cylinders have a oval shape to them. They are not common however still many doors use them. They are easy and quick to replace.

Mortice locks are usually fitted to wooden front doors. They are offer good security and 5 lever Insurance Approved British Standard versions are normally required by most home insurance companies. We are able to change existing locks or supply and fit new installs.
Sash Mortice Lock.
Similar to Mortice lock shown above, however sash locks have door handles each side of the door. Sash Mortice locks are usually fitted to front and rear wooden doors.
